I’d love to see how many zeroes were on the end of the number that the Weinstein’s just showed Wes Craven, because from the sounds of it he’s considering doing a movie he essentially previously ruled out for life: “Scream 4â€.
The horror legend told Bloody Disgusting that he has been contacted about returning to helm a fourth film in the popular horcom (that’s horror/comedy) series.
“Actually, I received a call about that for the first time the other day… obviously, I’ve been asked about that for a long, long time… I think that it’s not completely off the table at this point, as far as the studio making it. I was asked if I’d be interested, but I said it would depend on the script. [Scream 4] isn’t something that’s around the corner or anything, they are now thinking about it.”
Neve Campbell, who played heroine Sidney Prescott in the first three movies, is also believed to be in talks – but so far, they’ve had no luck twisting her arm. [Moviehole]

I LOVE all the “Scream” movies. But really, how many can you come up with, before it gets a bit boring?

Great to see the site finally online, Lu! I know you’ve been doing a lot of work with it, so I’m sure it will rock once it’s up!
I don’t think I’d want to see another Scream movie. The 3rd one wasn’t all that great although the whole trilogy is one of my fave horror films ever!

I would like to see a Scream 4 but only if they grow it up w/ the old characters. The teens today have cut their teeth on ‘Saw ‘, ‘the Hills Have Eyes’, and such..a guy in a dress w/ a plastic mask is not going to interest them..plus w/ the economy what teen has disposable cash? Make it more a psychological thriller- give Sindey a kid-have Dewey and Gail trying but not able to.. have Sid dump the boyfriend ..’she’s become overprotective and D and G think she’s paranoid.. it could be fun! Aim it at those audience members still in their 20′s and early 30′s who remember the first 3 movies and have some investment in and nostalgia for the characters..it would be a great date movie!

I Love scream but i the 2nd one isnt the best but i love 1 3 4 they should make scream 5 why don i get a call saying you wanna be in scream 5 your lucky i wouldnt mind being in scream
