After a December 2005 release of the second season, Sony has finally gotten around to announcing Party of Five – The Complete 3rd Season for DVD! After a two-and-a-quarter year wait, fans will finally get their hands on the third season (out of six total) this March 25th. Here’s the studio description:
The third season of this pop-culture phenomenon comes to DVD! This season’s filled with challenges: Kristin’s parents take her home when she loses her PhD after plagiarizing; Charlie longs for the good old days until he realizes that things weren’t that great; Julia feels guilty when a friend commits suicide; Claudia authorizes a $3000 plumbing repair when no one is around; and the family bands together to help Bailey confront his drinking problem. Stars Matthew Fox (TV’s “Lost”), Jennifer Love Hewitt (TV’s “Ghost Whisperer”), Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls), Neve Campbell (Scream 1 – 3), Scott Wolf (TV’s “Everwood”), Paula Devicq (TV’s “Rescue Me”).
Jeremy London (who’s got something like 10 different films coming out!) and Scott Grimes (“Dr. Morris” on ER) return in their recurring roles, plus you’ll also spot Marla Sokoloff, James Sloyan, Ben Browder, Ben Savage, Dan Lauria, Carroll O’Connor, Corinne Bohrer, singer Randy Newman and High School Musical drama teacher “Mrs. Darbus”, Alyson Reed.
These 25 episodes come on 5 DVDs, running 1175 minutes. No extras look to be included (unless you count previews of other Sony TV-DVD releases). Presentation will be as originally broadcast, with full-frame video and English audio. The cost for this set will be $39.95 SRP. We’ve got an early (and small-ish) look at the cover art, but it is not yet final and could be subject to change:
2007 is coming to the end. This year pass so fast, at least to me. And now, it’s time to say goodbye. Goodbye for a while, of course.
I’m leaving town for my Holidays vacations, and won’t do any updates here for at least 2 weeks. But can’t go without tell you, Neve Online’s visitor, how great you was in our first year. So nice comments, so many lovely emails, great supportive people. Neve is great, awesome, so is a pleasure to make a website dedicated to her. But with nice people around us, visiting and supporting, the pleasure is bigger. Manuh, Sid, Lexi, Partyofneve, Sidney and every people who spent a little second to be nice and leave us just a little “hi”: THANK YOU.
I hope you all have a Merry Christmas, and a very very happy New Year, with health, peace and full of realizations. And I hope to see you here next year.
See you soon.
What does Party Of Five and The West Wing have in common? Well, absolutely nothing…except for the fact they both have two very eco-savvy alumni. Bradley Whitford and Neve Campbell are both involved in a new mini-series that deals with global warming, entitled, Burn Up. Campbell and Whitford agree that they joined the project because of their strong passion for the environment and the subject of global warming. In the series, Neve plays an environmentally conscious oil company worker opposite Whitford’s less than green, oil company lobbyist.
Wait a tick-Neve Campbell plays an environmentally conscious oil company worker? Something about that seems awfully strange…oh yeah, it’s the words “environmentally conscious” and “oil company” in the same sentence. In response to that little paradox, Campbell says, “(My character) figures out how to fight for what she wants and how to do that in the sense of going along with what the oil company needs for its purposes, but also trying to angle things so that she can be helpful to the environment.” Read more
Again, thanks to Lexi for sending in most part of this awesome pictures.
