Neve started out dancing at six years old. When she was nine, she began training at the National Ballet School of Canada. She excelled at her art and was adept at six different forms of dance but unfortunately several injuries made a lifelong career impossible. She later turned to acting and landed her first commercial for a mall in Canada called Eaton Center.

Soon after came her stage debut in The Phantom of the Opera at the Pantages Theater in Toronto. It was here that she met Jeff Colt, her future husband, who just happened to be bartending at that theater. Neve later performed in productions of The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty before she hit it big in the motion picture industry.

Neve is best known for her roles in Party of Five and the Scream series.
