A couple more of pictures taken on set has surfaced the web (thanks Jandrito for the heads up), and probably belongs to EW photoshoot Dave has twitted a few days ago, since they’re wearing the same clothes and Wes Craven is also in the pictures.

Finally, a picture that contains some info about the film (aside from Neve Campbell’s hair) has been snapped. Hit the jump to get a small detail on just what Sidney Prescott has been up to!

Before The Trailer got this and a whole bunch of other set pics, but the one below is probably the most interesting. It’s a poster for a book signing by one Sidney Prescott, for her memoir, “Out of Darknes: A True Story of Survival”.

Today is the day that Screamers across the globe have been anticipating for more than a decade: cameras will officially roll on the set of Scream 4.

Rejoice!

Of course, it looks like someone may have called “Action!” just a bit early. On Friday, Access Hollywood host Nancy O’Dell tweeted the first on-set pictures from the film—including one with actress Neve Campbell. O’Dell, who had cameos in both Scream 2 and Scream 3, noted that she will be playing—what else?—a TV reporter in the newest installment of the franchise, set to hit theaters on April 15, 2011.

While it’s a bit early for speculation, Scream Franchise Examiner would hasten a guess that O’Dell’s character lands an interview with Campbell’s Sidney Prescott, said to be well-known author in the film, which takes place ten years after the events of Scream 3.

For those wondering just where the action will take place, On Location Vacations reports that Scream 4 is filming on Varsity Drive in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where the production crew is said to have taken over several buildings in the industrial park located there.

Earlier this month it was reported that actor Jamie Kennedy, who played the popular character Randy in Wes Craven’s Scream and then met his untimely demise in Scream 2, would be returning to the screen in Scream 4. Kevin Williamson recently chatted with Fearnet about the production, and clearly stated that there is no way Randy would be coming back.

The director also confirmed that Scream 4 will likely turn into a trilogy.

“There’s three. I am contracted for 4, 5 and 6, but the deal for 6 is not done. I mean I pitched three films
. The story is about returning to Woodsboro; and Scream 5 – knock on wood, if we actually get to it, because 4 has to be good in order for us to make a 5 – 5 will be a continuation of 4, but 4 is its own movie. It has a beginning, a middle and its own ending, which will be satisfying hopefully. It has a beginning, middle and end and 5 has a beginning, middle and end; it’s just a continuation of the lives of all the people that live in 4. I can’t start giving 5 away – that gives up too much of 4.”

The amazingly of it it’s MovieWeb pointed Neve as starring in Scream 5. It would be possible?

Scream 4 comes to theaters in April 15, 2011. Scream 5 are under development.

An article about the growing Michigan film industry in today’s Detroit Free Press confirmed the rumor and provided a few more details about the filming of “Scream 4″ in Michigan.

According to the Freep, which verified the information with Dimension Films, shooting will take place in and around Ann Arbor in June.

Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette are all confirmed to be starring in the fourth installment of the horror series.

Like the three movies before it, “Scream 4″ will be produced by Dimension Films, written by Kevin Williamson and directed by Wes Craven.
When the announcement was made earlier this week that “Scream 4″ was in the works, Craven said he’s looking forward to working with the original cast members, as well as som new young ones.

March 23, Entertainment Weekly: “Working with Courteney, David, and Neve was a blast ten years ago and I’m sure it will be again. Kevin is right on his game with the new script — the characters and story crackle with energy and originality — to say nothing of some of the most hair-raising scares I’ve seen in a script since… well, since the original Scream series. Let me at it.”

“Scream 3″ was released in 2000. “Scream” and “Scream 2″ came out back to back in 1996 and 1997.
